Staking

Carpathian Nodes offers different type of staking options. The options are mainly defined by the Blockchain on which the Node is operating

Individual Staking

An individual node is a Node only run by Carpathian Basin Kft. An individual node can have the possibility of Flexible staking.
An individual node will be set up, if the thresh hold to open a node is relatively small. With a relatively small investment the node can be set up. After building up experience it can be changed into a cooperative staking set up.

Cooperative Staking

A cooperative node is a node which established through a cooperative. A group of participants have pooled assets in the founding wallet for the node, sharing the staking rewards (-costs) proportional to their proportion of the total assets.
To keep the node manageable there is a maximum amount of 11 participants assigned to a cooperative node.
In order to ensure and document the ownership split of the participants, this type of node has a legal base through an Escrow agreement and an Unincorporated Joint Venture agreement.

Flexible Staking

Flexible staking is to have the chance to directly stake in the node, by owning staking tokens representing the tokens staked in the node. Carpathian Basin is staking on behalf of the flexible staker and will share a significant portion of the staking rewards with the Flexible staker, where the remainder of the rewards is used to fund the flexibility and the eco-system.
Flexible staking is good for individuals who want to have flexibility to offload their tokens when needed or for individuals who have the aspiration to take a seat in a cooperative node, where this node is fully occupied.
What defines Flexible staking:

  • Participate by buying a TRC10 token
  • Buy at value + 0 – + 5%
  • Automatic restaking of received rewards
  • Re-selling at value
  • No minimum staking time required
  • Candidate for cooperative staking
